Hey Ravehnites, it's been a rough year here for all of us at Sol Raveh.

We've seen a lot of problems that were finally brought to our attentions and tried to fix them, had misunderstandings between players and mods a like and in the end it seems many people have lost interest in the game. So it's with a heavy heart that we have to make a very hard decision.

The final fight with the Queen is drawing near, and with it we have a very big decision to make: do we end it after defeating her?

Many on the mod team has felt the strain particularly hard and between this and our own personal lives we feel we can't give you the welcoming and safe place we wanted to and strove to from the beginning. That being said, we want to give you all a couple choices. When we end the game we want to give you all still here the possibility to continue to play and enjoy the CR you have within the arena we have provided. By doing this we would basically be keeping Sol Raveh open as a sandbox sort of place rather than an actual game. The other option is to simply close our doors either now....or after the fight with the Queen.

Again we are sorry to have this come up like this but in the end, it seemed to be coming.

We here at the Mod Team have loved having you all and we are so sorry we could not do better for all of you.

Alright, so since we've had a couple months with a bit more plot we were thinking we'd let the players decide what they want to have come next. We have a couple ideas for things that may be fun, some from ourselves and others are suggestions from a few of our players. So if you all could talk a few minutes to vote for Junes event, we will have it written up and probably start some time around the second week(around the 10th-12th for a starting time). Please note: this poll will close on the 8th at 11:59(PST).

The options are:

De-aged/Aged up:

Basically as described, your character is either de-aged, made younger, or aged up. How to they interact with others? De-aged characters will not retain their adult memories however aged up characters will but have no new memories. All memories from said event will be kept.

Thoughts out Loud:

Another fairly self explanatory. The characters thoughts will be projected to whomever they may be talking to. Better hope they aren't anything bad.

Memory Swap:

This one will most definitely have a lot of interactions between players, you will need to pick a few memories and basically choose someone to trade them with. These other characters will know that they don't belong but can't tell why, other than they don't know anyone in the memory(unless they have met the people in it in the castle or in their canon).

Body Swap:

You wake up for a couple weeks in another persons body....this could be interesting. Better hope you can understand how to control what ever abilities they might have.

Alright Ravehnites! It is drawing close to the day of reckoning!

On the 27th we have planned the final fight for those who make it to save Yorda, however...what if you don't make it? What if you go to the wrong place!?

We want to make everything as fair as possible so we thought we'd give you some options incase things don't go well.

Alright! So as everything winds down it is obvious that both Ozuma and the Queen are not in their best form. Both are recovering from April and the beginning of May, Ozuma within the safety of the Living Quarter and the Queen from her own lofty throne room that is heavily guarded. That being said, it would seem that both still have some way of helping(or in the Queens case hindering) our make-shift heroes find someone very important to taking on the Queen. As some may or may not know a certain horned boy hasn’t been his best lately. Ico was told by Ozuma not to go off alone to find Yorda after she was taken by the Queen back in December and as of yet….hasn’t been sure it was wise to approach the others. Things have been rough and he knows it.

However, that is about to change. Yorda is needed if they want to leave this place, after all she’s one of the only ones who can open those doors of the main gate.

Now, how are our intrepid heroes going to be able to find the Princess? ~~We promise she’s not in another castle~~ Not so easily of course. As Ozuma is not able to do his usual help it would seem instead he has to once again work through dreams, BUT DON’T WORRY! These dreams are more like your usual ones….only...oddly more specific. Places within the castle that people might actually recognize. Other that they don’t but the architecture is all the same. But be careful, some of these might actually be a trap, after all Ozuma isn’t the only one who can play with people's dreams...or nightmares.

What we need:

Five(5) people to receive dreams from Ozuma that will each hold a hint to Yorda’s whereabouts
Five(5) people to receive dreams from Queenie that will actually lead to traps(actual pitfalls and ambushes)

As a warning, one of the traps will involve people who have dropped from SR, or specifically the statues of them. And coming alive...to fight those who they face. Though it will not be the same statutes that are in the statue room...rather they will be statues that the Queen has.

This event end will, if successful, lead to Yorda being saved and the Queen being weakened further. New shadows and foes will be revealed during this and we hope to see about figuring out some form of battle system for saving Yorda. However we will put a poll up when it gets closer to that final face off with her….”guardian”.

Finally a little poll, would you rather have a big open log for the first part of the event(people having their dreams) or would you rather they talk about it themselves either over the network or in logs and let the characters come together in a more organic way to share information. No matter what the final confrontation will have it’s own log post.

So! As for the timing between the intro event and the start of the dreams! The Intro event will be completely cleared up as of today the 7th with the dreams starting up on the 13th. It's not a whole lot of lull but the bulk of the action won't be taking place until the 20th-27th.

Back by popular demand! This month will be the first AC of the year! from now on every three months we will be having AC come up. It's not too bad, we promise. While we have always strive to be a laid back private game it would seem that a majority of the player base would like to have some form of AC in place to prevent people from going completely inactive and just sort of idling.

So the big question, what is required for AC? Simple actually. One thread of at least five(5) comments from you. If you posted the thread that counts as one comment!

For this AC we will be accepting things from March-April-May and it will be due at the end of this month. If there are any questions there will be a comment bellow to respond to, other than that please use the below form and post your AC here!

The dreams for April's event have been submitted!

Please follow the links in the comments below to decide which dreams your character will be pushed into once the event starts on the 10th! Comment to the dream with your character's name, journal name, and if applicable their role in the dream.

NOTE: The dreams are not the most stable, and as pointed out in this question and answer they can be moved between, but keep in mind your character has to be very, very aware that they are actually in a dream to begin with. The beginning of the dreams are going to do everything possible to make the people inside believe that they really belong there.

You awaken from a strange dream… a fitful dream, at that. You had been spirited away by the avatar of a god to his sacred castle to aid in a war. Trials and tribulations faced you, danger and struggle! Maybe some friends along the way, but it was all a bit difficult and upsetting, wasn't it?
It's so much better to finally be awake, in reality, things are back to normal, and you aren't trapped in a drafty old stone castle solving puzzles anymore, right? You can go about your life and do what you want. It's so pleasant now, and you feel like you could actually get some rest here! It doesn't even bother you that you can't pass the boundary of the village, or wade out into the water farther than your ankles. That's just how things are. Ah, blissful routine.

Hello Sol Rahvenites, we are here to plan the beginnings of our big event for April Ozuma is up to his usual- trying to help and screwing it up. This time, he has accidentally created some very realistic dreamscape realities from the dreams of the persons in the castle! We are looking for volunteers to create some of these dreams that could come from their characters (at least five, no more than 10)! Characters in the castle will live within the dreams, certain that they are reality, until those dreams start to slowly come apart at the seams. This event will last from April 10-23rd.

So! For those who volunteer, we ask they they create a small, very limited, sandbox world for other characters to get dropped into. Almost like a jamjar within a jamjar. This setting will start to slowly disintegrate and characters will slowly start to realize that something is wrong. How exactly this pans out for each dream will depend on the character’s actions, and if they play their cards right they might make some very important progress while they're at it. Sign ups to control dreams will be below, and last until the 7th of April.

Hey guys, Pi here, bringing you a mini-player plot!

So as of today, March 18, Rin was poisoned on a patrol gone awry and has become a Shadow. She's a bit of a... strange Shadow, ahem, but as it affects the rest of you that doesn't change much: for the time being she's batting for the other team, and will be carrying out the Queen's bidding.

With mod permission, Shadow!Rin will be going about attacking the other castle residents. Specifically, she is recruiting, targeting to weaken others/not kill them, so that your characters can be captured and turned into Shadows too.

This plot is 100% optional! Mostly I offer it as a means for the rest of you guys to springboard off it and run your own individual character plots, if you want to. Everyone likes a good "fight your friends" conflict, after all!

Rin will be attacking people between March 21 and March 28, and I'll be making a log for it when the time comes! See under the cut for more details if you're interested!

Hey kids, Shannon here.

Something I've been a ponderin' for a bit now, but just got ok-d by the mod types.

Sara is a CSI at Las Vegas, and she came into the game with her CSI Field Kit. And, at this point, since the castle has been eerily quiet as of late, she's probably bored out of her mind. So, she's been fiddling with it in her spare time.

So, please feel free to have any characters stumble over things she might accidentally leave behind:

Fingerprint dust from printing
Cones / rulers for size gauging in photos
or anything you've seen in crime scenes in police dramas. (because we all know real crime scene stuff is different. :D)

Hey Everyone!

Alright so! Here's the deal! During the end of last month there was a lot of talk of something to make the darkness pull back. After a lot of talking our wonderful Tori, mun of Dove, volunteered a character run plot. Now this is late because she had to work out a couple things and we mods had a few things come up as well but we are back dating the event to the 29th of January. The day after this network post.

This is basically a chance for others to get involved, show how it might affect your characters and react to what it has done to the castle and it's inhabitants!

If you have any questions please feel free to ask and we will answer to the best of our ability! I also welcome Tori to pitch in for any questions regarding Dove's "Light" and it's effects on others!

Hey guys, Gann here (I know, "who?")

So I've been going through a lot of stuff lately and have been like 100% missing here and I feel terrible about it. i'm not tracking at all and I don't know what is going on at all, so I am going to suck it up and let Hunk go. mostly because I know you all can find another and better Hunk. I feel super dumb for doing this like a half a week before the new season comes out because i know once I watch it I will be nothing but Hunk chatty again, but until I can get my act together I want you all to have a chance to get a better Hunk.

Sorry for squatting for so long, and I love this game (even played the original game because of this and adore it), but I'm going to drop Hunk and that is me stepping out of the game. Maybe after a while I can pop back up into it and actually give it the proper time.

Making it official here as well. For those not in the know, my RP drive has been absolutely abysmal as of late, and I don't foresee it getting any better with the holidays looming their ugly heads pretty soon. So, may as well just cut my time here short. I'm dropping all three of my characters:
