State of the Castle #7
Castle Updates
Sans and Volga have taken a group to further explore the castle and have opened the areas Trolley 1 and Trolley 2 (or are at least working on doing so within that log) which of course means more light areas. Granted we're no where close to done with exploring this place, so as always we mods encourage further exploration! You don't need to ask for a favor straight up to continue forward, but more clearing means more favors granted!
The next area actually does require a bit of puzzle working, so if you need help please refer to this playthrough. I linked it from the appropriate time for the next area.
Fast Travel
This brings us to a small order of business. It was suggested to us by our lovely map-mod, Goggs, that a method of fast travel would be beneficial to all involved. Ask and ye shall receive! The stone "couches" originally used for save points within the game proper will now be used as fast travel points from within the castle. The only ones uncovered so far are Old Bridge, Trolley 1 (inside room) and Trolley 2 (outside at the end of the tracks) but new ones will be available once the areas are opened up. Simply call out where you're intending to go, or if you need to return say "common area" and Ozuma will pop you there in a flash! A... likely very disorienting flash, but hey it's better than walking all the way there and back again, right?
Event "end", new presence in the castle?
Many of the dream threads are already winding down and for the most part nothing new has come of the dreams and memories people have been wandering in. Naturally you're more than welcome to continue having your character affected until the end of the month, but as far as the magic that the Queen used to cause the existential commotion is concerned it is beginning to wane and will be fully gone by Feb 1st.
In fact it seems as though the Queen has once again gone quiet completely... and yet there is a feeling of unease over the castle. Something new may very well be lurking in the corners and darkness of the castle. Something far more dangerous than shadows that merely try to drag you to portals.
These new enemies will begin appearing in the unexplored areas at the beginning of the month, and though they won't be coming in with an event fanfare they are certainly going to make things more difficult for our intrepid heroes. More information about them will appear in the bestiary.
Character Updates
Nothing of importance as of right now, though Emmeryn and Rob both have gotten a little more information out of Ozuma if anyone cares to question them about that...
Ozuma's Favors
Ozuma is accepting favors and giving out quests. Those that aided Sans and Vogla in opening Trolley 1 and 2 will be receiving free favors.

Applications open at midnight tonight, and run until the 1st of February! Get those new characters in! February's event is going to be a relatively chill one dealing with Valentines Day, goofy shenanigans, and probably an overabundance of chocolate. :D
Addendum
SOMEONE who shall remain nameless has decided it would be a great time to play a mostly harmless prank in the castle. Those lucky enough to have a tube of toothpaste lying around will find that the contents have suddenly been replaced by mayo. The mayo in the fridge in the kitchen is now... frosting. And for some reason an entire tray of cookie sandwiches has had their frosting innards replaced by toothpaste.
Y'know, RinMod actually likes mayo, but not enough to brush her teeth with it...
