[EVENT] Egg Hunt!

You're wandering, minding your own business, denizen of the Castle. On your wanderings, you suddenly find before you something unlike anything you've ever seen before. Or, perhaps, you have seen it before. We're not sure. We don't care. Regardless of whether you have or haven't, you're seeing it now. It lies before you, beckoning for you to reach out and pick it up. You're curious. You want to know what it is. So, you reach out and find ...



... An egg.

But not just any ordinary egg. A strangely patterned, larger than normal sized egg. Can you eat it? Will it hatch into anything? Is it alive? Is it dead? Are you going to be a parent in the near future?? EGG DO?! DO EGG!?

Happy Easter, Ravehnites! This is a rather sudden, last-minute event, but we thought it would be unfair to let Easter go by without any eggs. Not just any ordinary eggs, though. Pokemon eggs. That's right, everyone. Now you, too, can have your own Pokemon! But, as many of you are first-time trainers, or in the case of the Pokemon cast, have their own set of six Pokemon already, we need to set some ground rules for this.

1. A maximum of TWO (2) eggs can be claimed by any character. If the character picks up any eggs after having the maximum, they will magically be teleported into the care of your local Daycare Family. (Meaning, N/Hilda/AZ. They will be getting the Daycare up and running soon enough.) The same will go for those who do not wish to claim Pokemon. Should you show any disinterest in actually raising these little scamps, the magical teleportation technique will know.

2. Any Pokemon that hatches from an egg can be claimed. We will let you choose which Pokemon this is. The Pokemon OBVIOUSLY will be hatched as the first in their evolution line. They will begin at level one, and they are NOT specially bred, so no crazy perfect IVs and no more than their default attacks at the time of their hatching to begin with. As they grow, they will be able to learn more techniques.

3. No shinies at this time. Sorry, folks.

4. No legendaries. This is a given, clearly, but it bears being stated anyway. No. Legendaries.

5. Once you have decided which species of Pokemon you wish for your character to have for their maximum two, please respond to the comment below with which ones they are. To make things a bit more interesting, we will RNG the Nature and the Gender of your Pokemon for you.

6. In the case of those who already have Pokemon - If you have a party of six already, you may not claim any more. Pokemon being taken care of by the Daycare family are not actually counted among their team. Those Pokemon will merely be taken care of until homes can be found for them (which gives opportunities for characters apped later on to be able to adopt Pokemon as well, so it is JUST as important for people to give the eggs up for adoption!!).

7. I swear to God if we have a horde of Eevee I will stab something. (Disclaimer: This is the thought of Leia-mod, and does not reflect the thoughts of the mod team as a whole. It is also not to be taken seriously. But really, variety. Please.)

Another disclaimer: Three of your mods have just suffered a very, very long car ride, and while I think I may have gotten everything taken care of, there may be some details I have missed. I apologize for this in advance, and appreciate any problems you guys may catch.
